Logotype & identity systemChrist Church Mount Pleasant
Mount Pleasant, South Carolina Christ Church has been a landmark in the Santee Cooper area for 300 years. This identity is the church's first since its founding in 1706. In the words of former rector Ted McNabb: "Our new logo captures the fact that we are moving into our fourth century as a parish and remain committed to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, which is timeless... This logo reflects something solid as a rock, yet open, warm-hearted, and receptive. It is traditional at the core and dynamic along the edges. "The intention from the outset was to create a logo that would incorporate the various worship styles, be cross-generational in use and appeal, and, foremost, reflect the values of our Christian faith. As I hope you can see, we believe it does exactly that.” |
